Prowlers are Super Bowl Bound for the Experience

Regular practice sessions have already started for the majority of the women’s football teams in the NWFA, but thats not true for the Phoenix Prowlers. With Superbowl XLII at his back doorstep, Coach Bryant Sewall along with the Phoenix Prowlers will be spending the day today participating in the NFL Experience at the Girls NFL Flag Clinic.

The NFL Experience, now in its 17th year, allows fans from all over to come and participate in activities such as passing, kicking and even calling the play-by-play.

The NFL Experience is the most exciting continuous event surrounding Super Bowl XLII — pro football’s interactive theme park offering participatory games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids’ clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football card show ever.

  • Clinics: Kids receive professional instruction from some of the best in the game!
  • Referee Clinics: Learn what it takes to be a referee in the NFL.
  • Football 101: Instructional seminar geared to teach the rules of the game.
  • Cheerleading Spirit Clinic: For cheerleaders looking to improve their skills.
  • Player Readings: NFL Players read books to their audience.

NFL FLAG Clinics: Instructional clinic for ages 8-12 that will introduce them to various NFL FLAG football skills using the element of continuous play.

Proceeds from the gate will be donated toward the NFL’s charitable efforts in Arizona, the Youth Education Town (YET Center).
