The Wisconsin Wolves announced today on their bulletin that they are now part of the IWFL (Independent Women’s Football League).

From the Wisconsin Wolves bulletin:

The Wisconsin Wolves have switched leagues. We are now part of the IWFL. That means a Spring season.

First tryout is January 6th. Come show us what you got. Second tryout date is January 28th. Check back for times. Tryouts will be held at Prairie Athletic Club in Sun Prairie.

The IWFL also recently acquired the New Mexico Menace (Burn) and the Las Vegas Showgirlz whereas the NWFA (National Women’s Football Association) has acquired the New Jersey Titans, Minnesota Vixen and the Los Angeles Amazons, who all were part of the 2007 WPFL Season (Women’s Professional Football League).

Where will that leave the WPFL in 2008?
