“WFB Talk” (Women’s Football Talk) is now on Blog Talk Radio. This project has been in the “thought process” since December 2006 and had its debut on Blog Talk Radio, August 21, 2007.
News and information will cover all leagues, which will include the IWFL, WPFL, NWFA and WFA. There are three ways “WFB Talk” will be utilized. First we will host a live radio show through Blog Talk Radio (www.wfbtalk.com). Podcasts of every show will be available on the site as well, should you miss the live broadcast “WFB Talk” archives will be available directly from the site or download and listen on your MP3 player. Finally we will have a blog site (www.womensfootballtalk.com).
We invite listeners as well as blog followers to submit stories, photos and videos to the site. You can also e-mail any questions, comments and show ideas to contact@wfbtalk.com or call our 24 hour line (641) 715-3900 ext. 3051979.
Topics for WFB Talk will cover every aspect of Women’s Football, from what equipment to wear to coaching methods to public perception of female football players. We also hope to have interviews with players from previous era’s of Women’s Football.
Once again we would love to hear from our listeners! Hosting “WFB Talk” will be Beebe, Bj, Meg and Robin, four players active in Women’s Football today.
Bios for your hosts are available at the blog site. You will hear stories from around the leagues, up to date game scores, interviews, personal interest stories, questions and comments from our listeners either by phone or through email. As for the blog, you will get point of interest stories, personal stories, league stories and more. We encourage the leagues to contact us for the latest news and information.
